iRT Research Specialist Master’s of Science in Developmental Psychology, North Carolina State University Rebecca Stelter, MS., is completing her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at North Carolina State University. At iRT she is currently working on two projects. The Thinking About Peers Project aims to create and test a computer software program, which determines where cognition deficits occur in aggressive children. This tool will be used to assist clinicians and other trained psychologists in treating aggressive behavior in children. The Making Important Decision Project examines the cognitions of teenagers surrounding their decision to drink alcohol underage. This information will then be used to inform efforts to prevent underage drinking. |
